The instrument consists of a measuring system (including flange joints, corrugated diaphragm), transmission indicating mechanism (including connecting rod, gear transmission mechanism, pointer and dial), and outer shell (including watch case and cover ring). The instrument shell is a splash-proof structure and has good tightness, so it can protect its internal mechanism from dirt and immersion.
The working principle of the meter is based on the deformation of the elastic element (the diaphragm on the measuring system). Under the pressure of the measured medium, the diaphragm is forced to produce corresponding elastic deformation---displacement.
